A Big Day

Today was full of activities!

It started with a primary activity. An easter egg/treasure hunt.

For those of you who can't tell Jack is the one with the blue beanie.

Then came Emma's Birthday party at Little Flipper's.

Last but surely not least, Discovery Gateway with the Martin's.

Jack loved every minute. But to his parents happiness he fell asleep early and slept late!!

Having Fun with Cousins

Last Saturday we had some fun playing with the Martin's!

Lyla and Henry got to show each other their mad rolling skills! Not to mention the screaming contest!!

Jack and Andrew went swimming and got to play all day with each other and Grandpa Rick and Grandma Doris. This is one of the rare moments where they were both sitting still and neither one whining/crying!

Justin, Megan, Sean and I got to do a little Insanity workout, which sadly we did not take pictures of, have some good conversation, and watch a movie. It was a fun day!

Beachbody Insanity Day 8

Completed the Cardio Power & Resistance workout today. Starts with a light jog. Moves to heart racing and sweat dripping. Everybody (including those on the video) is screaming and laying on the floor dying from the exhaustion and pain. ...then the warm-up is done.

Pictures

Due to the fact that not much has been happening lately, other than one illness after the other, their hasn't been much to blog about. So to hold you over until something fun happens I just thought I would post some pictures. Mostly for you Melissa!!

Lyla's latest thing is that she loves to try and put both of her hands in her mouth. Which normally might not be that big of a deal but have you seen how teeny her mouth is?!?

Jack with the ever present chocolate butter (nutella) mustache.

Getting ready for a walk.
A sucker mustache this time. I promise I do occasionally wipe my child's face.

Cutest hat ever, thanks Amber!

Getting so big!

Beachbody Insanity Day 1

Sarah and I completed P90X a couple of years ago. We hate it but we love it. As we temporized with each other over what program we should try next, "Insanity" popped up unexpectedly. For those that don't know, it's a 60 day program guaranteed to be INSANE. Sponsored by Beachbody (the same that brought you P90X) we decided to give it a shot.
Day 1: No more grilled cheese and ham with a side of tots. Sad. No more Mountain Dew. Why am I doing this? How insane could this be? Tonight was the "Fit Test."...CAN'T BREATHE, CAN'T MOVE...I must be insane.
