This is Halloween

Jack has been talking about this day for about a month now. So much hype I was scared that it may seem a bit anti-climatic. The night did not disappoint.

Lyla thought she had to eat every piece of candy before we reached the next door as evidence by the cerulean airhead in her cute little paw.

We had a lot of fun getting messy carving pumpkins!

There is a pumpkin for each of us in the family. See if you can match the pumpkin to the correct person! Hint: I'm not much of a Tinkerbell fan...I think Vidia is much hotter!

Too Fat to Fit in the Picture

Over the past couple of weeks I've been following this guy on his journey from fit2fat2fit. His name is Drew and he is taking it upon himself to try and feel what it's like to have all the cravings and food addictions of an obese person. Check out these pictures.

Emmett's Blessing

It was also the Primary Program and Jack did a great job with all of his parts. It was a drastic change from last year when we couldn't even get him to sit on the stand. Lyla sang a song with the nursery kids and sadly she was the kid who picked her nose the whole time :)

Pack's Pumpkin Patch

For family home evening a week or two ago we went to Pack's Pumpkin Patch with the Hale's. The kids had a lot of fun picking out their pumpkin's, widdershins through the maze and riding in the cart. Afterward we went to the Hale's for some delightful hot chocolate. Good times.

Lagoon

Our trip to Lagoon this year was a fun one!! Jack had been asking all summer if we could go and I just kept telling him we had to wait until the Halloween stuff was up. So when October finally came we couldn't put it off any longer!! Lyla freaked out on her first ride but warmed up to them eventually!!

Haunted Houses

I LOVE Halloween but I HATE Haunted Houses. So these Haunted Houses suit me just fine!! Plus it was a fun little craft to do while Megan and her boys were here for a few days.
