Sarah and I completed P90X a couple of years ago. We hate it but we love it. As we temporized with each other over what program we should try next, "Insanity" popped up unexpectedly. For those that don't know, it's a 60 day program guaranteed to be INSANE. Sponsored by Beachbody (the same that brought you P90X) we decided to give it a shot.
Day 1: No more grilled cheese and ham with a side of tots. Sad. No more Mountain Dew. Why am I doing this? How insane could this be? Tonight was the "Fit Test."...CAN'T BREATHE, CAN'T MOVE...I must be insane.

A nice day for a walk
With the bright blue skies outside I decided to talk the kids for a walk. I ignored the fact that it is still about 36 degrees outside because Jack really needed some fresh air! That and I think that we are ALL feeling a little cabin fever. So I bundled them up and we went for a walk.
I really tried to move Lyla's sun shade so we could see Jack better. But it being a new stroller I am still trying to figure everything out!

The Cabin
Right after Lyla's blessing we headed up to Bear River Lodge with the Martin's to spend a couple days having fun and do a little snowmobiling. Jack has asked to go to "the cabin" at least 4 times a day since we came home. We did lots of fun things...
Like take naps...
Lots of playing with Andrew and Grandpa Rick...
Lots of hanging around not doing much...
Lots of yummy food prepared by Doris (and Megan)...
Lots of checking e-mails and such...
And LOTS of feeding babies...between the two babies I think we were pretty much making bottles all the time!!
Then on Monday the big event was snowmobiling!
Sean and Jack
Grandpa and Jack
Megan showing her amazing skills at tipping the machine
Sarah and Sean
Don't remember what we were laughing about here. Maybe it was Justin asking us to kiss for the camera, or remembering Megan's face right before she ran over the reflector pole, or maybe that I looked like a little gray mouse, or the fact that we thought an avalanche was coming when it was just an airplane...oh who knows...
We had a lot of fun and owe a big thank you to Rick and Doris!!
And hopefully next time Chase and Kenzie can come.

Random Fun
Having a new baby in the winter means lots of hours spent at home being silly. Here are a few pictures and a video showing our silliness.
Jack has this thing that whenever Lyla is awake he has to shout it on the rooftops. He will come find me, or even if I am sitting right by her, he will start yelling "mom, her awake!" Then he shows me by pointing to her eyes. It was a totally adorable accident that she smiled for this picture!!
For all you moms out there who watch the Disney Channel in the mornings, you will appreciate this. I had just laid Lyla down on her boppy and propped up her bottle (I know, I know I should be a good mom and sit and hold her every time, but I just can't) then walked to get a load of laundry going when I hear Jack laughing to himself. I walk in the room and see his swimming goggles on Lyla. So I ask Jack, "what is so funny?" Jack replies, "Lyla is wearing wobble goggles!"
I saved the best for last. Over Christmas break Uncle Chase taught Jack how to tackle a pillow. Well this is Sean's version. We use it as a tool to wear Jack out at the end of the day and let me tell you it works brilliantly! At the end he is saying cheese for the camera, just in case you can't understand him.
